Flashings should be checked from time to time for rusting, corrosion and cracks and rectified quickly before they grow into bigger, more expensive problems. If any signs are noticed repair them.
Rain Gutters
Also referred to as downspouts, rain gutters (or simply, gutters) channel rain water, snowmelt and runoff from other sources away from a building’s roofs, attics, walls and foundations, thereby preventing costly damage from moisture and decay as well as structural problems.
